Can you believe that we’ve only had four family photoshoots!?!

Yup, we started taking family pictures in 2020. Do I regret not taking family pictures before…. I sure do! But I cannot dwell in the past.

A little background

Growing up my family and I only took three professional family pictures. Maybe I will dig through old photos to look and post! The first two photoshoots were for Christmas and the third was taken in a Mexican “indoor swapmeet.” IYKYK.

My parents were born and raised in Mexico and in both of their childhood situations…family photoshoots…were just nonexistent. My mama and daddy had dysfunctional childhoods, oh, and they were both poor. They have been through so much and I am so proud of the woman and man they have become.

Anyways, I am assuming that is why we didn’t take many professional family pictures. It just was not part of their past and present life. And because of this, I think it became “not part” of my life, either. Until 2020.

I love all 3 photographers! But I am so grateful for Charle, the photographer who took my family pictures 2022 and 2023. She is so talented and so sweet. I am proud to call her my family photographer and my friend.
