AutoCamp Zion Family Trip
Camping season is upon us! Or should I say GLAMPING season!
We have officially started this season off strong! AutoCamp generously hosted my family and I for a two night stay at their Zion location! I am so excited to share all the goodness AutoCamp has to offer!
What is AutoCamp?
Autocamp Zion is a little oasis that you definitely want to come home to after hiking in Zion. It has beautiful views of the Virgin River, red cliffs and Zion Pinnacles. This oasis has an awesome heated pool, a children’s play area (let’s be real, the whole land is a play area for kids iykyk), a beautiful clubhouse with dinning and a bar, and a luscious green lawn.
You can reserve an airstream, a classic cabin, or a canvas tent. We stayed in an airstream. The airstreams have heat and air conditioning, spacious shower and bathroom, kitchenette with cooking and storage essentials, and a flat screen with bluetooth! Every spot has a bonfire pit & picnic table!

First Night at AutoCamp
After we unpacked we walked to the Virgin River which was right behind our Airstream. Then we headed straight to the heated pool. Yes girl, heated! I could not get over the pool views, just look at those mountains. We ended our night with some cast iron steak nachos and s’mores (duh)!
Ya’ll Eric and I really thought we would stay up late to look at the stars at night… Yeah, that DID NOT happen haha! We knocked the heck out.
First Morning
Waking up and realizing we did not see the stars in freaking Zion was such a disappointment! But we made some bomb egg and chorizo burritos for breakfast and ate our disappointment away. You’ve done that before, too, right?
15 Minutes Away from Zion National Park!
Eric and I are usually early birds when it comes to hiking, but yall, being 15 mintues away got us twisted ha. We had a late morning and arrived at Zion National Park visitor parking lot at TEN AM! There were absolutely no parking spaces and if one opened up then a crazy driver would literally honk at us for them to take it (or claim it was theirs first). People are CRAZY! Mad drivers were everywhere. I am so grateful Eric doesn’t have road rage, it’s an ick. Eric is calmed and collected a. He’s a “no worries” type of dude and I love that about him. Eric dropped me and the girls off so we could check out the Junior Ranger Program and get in line for the shuttle bus. After 30 minutes Eric found a spot!
Our plan in Zion was just to do the Riverwalk. We have been many times before and just wanted to admire the beautiful mountains, play in the river and just chill. And chill we did. We ate a picnic lunch with lots of yummy snacks. A cute little squirrel joined us for lunch. The squirrels in Zion DO NOT PLAY so be careful with them!
Zion is breathtaking. I am always amazed standing in between those gigantic red rocks. If you haven’t visited, I 100% recommend you plan a trip!
Second Night at AutoCamp
We wanted to be lowkey on our last night at AutoCamp. Like we just spent our whole morning fighting for our lives over a parking space haha. We were not trying to cook all the things, we were just wanted to chill…
And chill we did…
We had dinner at the AutoCamp Kitchen. The kitchen is in the clubhouse. The clubhouse is also the location of the front desk, Autocamp store, bathrooms, a sitting area, and lots of fun games. We played Jenga while waiting for our order.
Eric and I ordered the double burger with pretzel sticks and the girls had chicken tenders with tots. It was all so yummy!
Ya’ll the S’MORES...
The AutoCamp s’more kit were insanely delicious! The kit sells for $15 and trust, it will be the best $15 you ever spent on s’mores. After dinner we went outside and played cornhole and made these bomb s’mores on their community bon fire!
Once again… Look at that view!
How We Ended our Stay
Every Airstream has a T.V. and the apps you need to stream whatever you’d like! After 2 full days of adventures we decided to end our stay at AutoCamp with Robin Hood.
We Saw the Stars on Our Last Night
Eric and I woke up around three in the morning to go outside and look at the night sky. It was breathtaking. Of course my ghetto IPhone pictures do no justice.
It was an amazing last night at AutoCamp.
Before road tripping back home we decided to see the flowing water at Gunlock State Park. Unfortunately, it was not flowing (yes, we checked the website and all). We still enjoyed the short hike and a small picnic.
