Easter Resurrection Garden Party

This week we decided to throw a little Resurrection Garden Party. What is a Resurrection Garden you ask? Well, it’s when you read books about Christ, recreate a little sepulchre (tomb), and learn about the resurrection, the true meaning of Easter.

My First Resurrection Garden

I made my first Resurrection Garden 5 years ago when Kai was 2 weeks old and Thalia was 2 years old. I was struggling with bladder issues and PPD alongside leaning how to care for 2 amazing little babes. Times were both rough and beautiful. Although I knew back then how much I was loved by Jesus…I needed a reminder of His love. I created my first Resurrection Garden and used it as a table center piece the whole season.

The Party

My daughters were so excited to invite some of our sweet friends over to talk about Jesus and do a craft! We headed to hobby Lobby and bought the materials that were needed. Then we went outside and picked up lots of rocks!

We set up the table and of course had to use this beautiful purple table runner. (The color purple is associated with royalty).

We made simple egg and ham breakfast tacos and my friends brought yummy treats! I read some beautiful books aloud while the kiddos made their garden.

We talked about His birth, His ministry, His healing powers, and His love for us. After we finished Thalia grabbed her little Bible Story book and showed her friends her favorite stories. It was a beautiful thing to witness.

Mamas, if you are in a season of creating deep and intentional moments with friends I recommend throwing an Easter Resurrection Garden party. We all had the best time being together and learning about our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Xoxo,

Rudyko
